How do you rely on satellites in your life?

You know what a satellite is. So what do we use them for? Today’s satellites can do so many amazing things that it is almost impossible to list. In this blog, we will touch upon some of the most common tasks to give you a good understanding of what satellites are used for and how they affect our everyday lives.Pictures, words, and music are sent up to a satellite and converted to an invisible beam of energy.Whenever you watch a television show on one of your favorite channels, do you ever wonder how your TV is able to receive the program? Well, whether you use cable, dish, or antenna to receive your programs, they are all routed through a satellite. There are satellites responsible for finding and tracking ships, planes, cars, people, plus many other things. These are called Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites. They are very important to the military. We rely on satellites to help us track weather, especially big storms such as thunder storms, hurricanes, and tornadoes. Many satellites can take pictures to give scientists and technicians a better look at what is happening with the Earth in order to predict weather and possible disasters.

Are there any negative aspects of having satellites in space?

Space Debris : It's called space junk or space junk without any artificial object to orbit the Earth utility. It consists of tan, various things like large remains of old rockets and satellites, remains of explosions , or rocket components remains as dust and small particles of paint.Space junk has become a growing concern in recent years , as collisions at orbital velocities can be highly damaging to functioning satellites and can also produce even more space debris. Countries dispute the power to win the Space Race : This issue has since developed countries like the United States, Russia , Japan , Canada and others have tried to always be the first to get out later in astronomy and in general to other sciences achieve to be revolutionary , but have not seen the damage they are causing to the cosmos in general , this dispute has been since the human being, as a competitive being, has been trying to reach more dire consequences without thinking about the consequences you will encounter.

Why spend money on space exploration when we have so many problems here on Earth?

Currently in our world there are many problems that should be solved: many injustices, many countries are engaged in wars, there is an economic crisis, millions of people go hungry. So why huge amounts of money is spent on investigating what lies beyond our planet Earth when we still have to take care of such important issues as, for example, eliminate hunger and poverty? The purpose of these organizations is not humanitarian work but scientific research and technological development in space exploration. Neither NASA nor the European Space Agency and its counterparts in other countries may require them to perform the task for institutions like the UN.
Many people think that in the space race goverments invested too much money that could be used to improve conditions of the inhabitants of the Earth and that all this investment does not benefit anyone, it is a waste of money. It is true that in space research, budgets are handled seem very high but there is a lot of technology that is used in everyday life that originates in the space race.
In addition to engaging in data collection and analysis, space agencies often have a department of technology transfer, and throughout the space race these departments have had thousands of patents. So it is quite clear that investing in this activity does generate benefits for society.

How important are satellites to our world?

These devices are very useful for the modern man , they are the main protagonists of communications in the world ; Thanks to them , we receive television signals, radio and telephone, or have valuable information on climate, our environment and space.

  1. I feel like you copied and pasted everything in your entry which is not what we wanted. With your own ideas and personal opinions, you would have done much better in this task. Next time please understand that we only want work that is done by you.
